Pool Day

It is finally that time of year, where we tend to lay out before class, after class, and yes even during class (such as today!).

Also seeing bikini strings are totally normal under a shirt when we actually choose to attend class.

Today I had a test/quiz in my first class that actually went about 100 times better then I expected. Then in my next class we were getting our test back and I did not want to stay!

Once she handed our test back Cam slipped out, totally sly and undetected. Then Jeff was going and if it wasnt for me he would have been totally stealth. But I blew it. The class started laughing. It was bad. But not as bad as class would be!

Now we are just tanning by the pool before the gym and studying for my last test.

I also need to do laundry and pack.

And a study date with C and J. I am pretty sure I am in love with C, or J. Or both.

This shall be interesting.

Whats In My School Bag

1. 5 Star Notebooks. Over the years I have grown to adore these. They are simple and perfect size for my classes and taking notes.
2. Headphones. In case I end up at the library.
3. My iPhone. I never go anywhere with out it.
4. My Lilly planner. It is my world. I am completely lost without it. It has my entire life/schedule in it.
5. My Lilly or Starbucks tumblr. Lilly has yet to come out with a cold tumblr, so I have settled for Starbucks, and yes the christmas one! It makes me happier. I am dependent on coffee and ice tea so I always have it with me at school.
6. My pen bag. Mine is actually a jcrew one and it keeps all my pens, pencils, postits, advil, highlighters, calculates, clickers etc. Anything I need for school. It is my savior.
7. Staedtler pens. I didnt get these till last semester, but my friends have been using them for years. The are perfect for my obsessive color coordination of everything from my notes to my planner and I swear they make my handwriting better.
8. My brown Longchamp. Perfect school bag, just perfect bag all around. It fits everything I need and so durable.
9. Emergen C. I always have one or two in my bag for days I am just not feeling well. Add them to OJ and they are a perfect savior. especially for the morning after a long night.
10. My keys. And my favorite Coach whale keychain.
11. My wallet. I love my wallet. It is perfect for everything I need.
12. Blistex. I always have one or two in my bag and apply them regularly.

Raining Day

It is suppose to rain today but so far it has not! But when I was looking at the forecast for the week, we are suppose to have rain today and tomorrow! Finally I can wear my Hunter boots! Plus this morning on the Today Show constant local weather updates I was told that it is suppose to rain. So its okay.

I have been living on coffee recently because of early morning practices so my coffee mug rarely leaves my side and is constantly being filled up. I cant have coffee before practice because it gives me the worst stomach ache. So I am constantly drinking during the morning.

Also today is the first day I am not bringing my Longchamp bag to class. I have to bring my big backpack because I had a quiz this morning so I was studying on campus with my textbook and computer (two large items I never bring to class). Also I have my workout stuff in my bag, most of the time I will just wear them to class but if I have a chance to wear my rain-boots you better believe I will dress up!

MLK

Tonight I was still recovering from last night. Since there was no school today my friend K and I went out. I didnt want to go and neither did she but we ended up going late night and had a wonderful time. Maybe a little too much fun though! I had to wake up and go to my first day of my internship this afternoon and it was rough.

I recently got into the bachelor and its is definitely a guilty pleasure. It is such trash but I cant stop watching it!

I also dropped one of my gen ed classes I really disliked for an online class and I am very excited! It means that I only have 3 real classes (all in my major), 1 online class (which will be a lot of reading but I enjoy reading) and one "pod cast" class (which is all audio lectures and test in the lecture class).

My new schedule is two classes Monday and Wednesday 9:30 to 12:15 and one Tuesday Thursday from 12:15 to 1:30. I really need to get good grades this semester with this schedule. Maybe my first 4.0?

Also tomorrow I am going to my first morning swim practice and I am weirdly excited! I will let you know how it goes!

Snow Day

Today my friends and I are going up to a small mountain ski resort for the day. My friends are going to ski while I hang out in the lodge and snuggle up with hot coco and a book. Currently I am reading Barefoot which I am enjoying and I am bringing Middlesex with me as well in case I finish the first. I stared Middlesex a while back but have not gotten into it as quickly.

Many people have asked me why I am going along when I am not going to ski. Well it is simple, we have a family home in Park City, Utah and to go from skiing on those world famous mountains to skiing a one lift small mountain does not sound exciting to me. I think it would prove more frustrating to me. Also my friends have never skied so they will be taking a lesson, and I would either be skiing alone or waiting for them and my book and a fire sound much more exciting.

I am going because I love the snow and need to get out of town! I am very exciting to drive up and just wonder around on my own. Also I can not wait to watch them in their lesson! They dont know what they are in for!

First Day of Classes

This is the outfit I ended up wearing for my first day of classes this spring, except my Sperry's are plaid. This will not be my favorite semester. I hate gen ed classes and I am already dreading this African class that I am. Not that I have anything against learning about the topics, I just do not enjoy the ridiculous amount of busy work they require or the amount of time they require. I am a senior, I know what I want to do, I have 4 other classes that actually relate to my future so no I do not want to create a movie about your class.
